Role: Sr. System Administrator
Based in: Mumbai
Reporting to: Mahesh Khambadkone (CTO)
Experience required: Someone with 10 to 12 years of work experience
What do you need to do? (Role and Responsibilities)
- Work with a team of Service Engineers who work in shifts to ensure smooth operating of all IT Systems at Games2win.
- IT Systems you would oversee are :
- Network infrastructure at our Mumbai office
- VPNs accessed by our remote employees
- Physical systems & mobile devices used by employees, including remote troubleshooting and deployment / collection of devices
- Backup servers
- Version Control Repositories
- Servers we have, running on services like AWS and Google
- Software licensing
- Ensure document protocols are followed for all tasks executed by your team. We call these Standard Operating Procedures.
- Create / Update these documents clearly, as and when required.
- Quickly resolve any system failures and troubleshoot issues.
- Monitor performance of all systems, to proactively monitor usage and spot problems
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
Who could you be? Background and Experience:
- 4+ years of experience as a Sr. System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
- Experience with Mac and Windows OSs, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Past experience working with remote teams is a must.
Educational Qualification:
- BE/BSc IT, MCA Graduate with Diploma in Hardware & Networking
